Quarter Finals

 Chaddesley Corbett, B’ham Barbarians, Handsworth

Chaddesley Corbett posted a no show for the re-arranged North Midlands Vase Competition fixture so we claim the result and go marching onwards towards the semi-finals without having played a game ( a bye and two walkovers).  Our best cup run for years.

The fill-in fixture was against Birmingham Barbarians with a second fixture against Handsworth 2nds.  We fielded two pick and mix sides who both produced victories.

The Ba Ba’s fixture provided the sternest test.  We were up against it in the forwards but luckily,  the backs always looked threatening when they had possession.  The final score :- Aldridge 22 points – Ba Ba’s 17 points.

Scorers : - Tries – Ben Drinkwater, Greg Raybould, Anthony Jaep, Ben Pittam.  Conversion – Jim Arnold.

Ba Ba’s – Two converted tries and a penalty.
