Aldridge Scrum half/Fly Half Adam Reed, who was one of our stand our performers last season and has been missed this season has followed his selection for the successful England side earlier this year with selection to the Great Britain AFL squad for this months European Championships being held in London at Wimbledon Park.

The premier full scale, 18-a-side Australian Football event held in Europe runs across three-days triennially and is a major part of national team preparations ahead of the following years International Cup in Melbourne.

Great Britain are current mens and women champions and will be competing against team from Ireland, Germany, Denmark, France and Croatia.

"Sir" Adam is joined in the Great Britain mens squad with fellow Wolverhampton Wolverines (who based themselves from Aldridge RFC this season) Craig Degville and George Dibble
