Aldridge appointed Jeff Large to be the First Team coach at the start of the season. Jeff has played rugby to a high level with Birmingham & Solihull, Dudley Kingswinsford and Sutton Coldfield but just as importantly he is a former member of our Club and knows many of the players.
I spoke to him recently about how things were going on and what his ambitions are for this season.
“I believe that Aldridge can go all the way this season and will not be happy unless they win their remaining games and end the season as League Champions.
We have recruited well this year and have changed our attitude towards training. Since Christmas we have recruited some exciting new players. We have a clear game plan with the flexibility to change things when necessary.
We are still looking for players to strengthen the team and we need a stronger squad if we are to succeed in the next division.
