It is a privilege to be named as club captain ahead of the 2016/17 season ahead of what is a massively important season for the club. Whilst naturally it is disappointing to have been relegated last season I see this season as a massive opportunity to get a new structure in place whilst blooding some new players in the first team. First and foremost the goal for this season is to get promoted and finish the season top of the league unbeaten. we easily have the ability to achieve this but we need commitment from the players to turn up to train regularly and make the effort to be available for games consistently on a Saturday. We have a new coach this season who is very keen on progressing this club, we as players need to make sure we are utilising this resource which will in turn improve us players and most importantly as a team. Lastly I would like to thank Lea Ross for his efforts last year and the help he has given me in transitioning the captaincy over . I hope to see you all at pre season training over the coming weeks.
