This notice was received today from the RFU via Greater Birmingham;
THE FUTURE OF ENGLAND WOMENS RUGBY COMES TO BIRMINGHAM!
On Thursday 9th April Birmingham Exiles RFC has the privelege of hosting the England Women's U20 squad who play a game against an RFU Senior Women's Academy XV at the clubs ground on Old Damson Lane, Solihull, B92 9ED.
Birmingham Exiles RFC have been developing their relationship with the Women's Performance Department over the past 18 months and are currently hosting both the Senior and Junior Academy matches and so it is fantastic that the club has been chosen to host this fixture. The club also works with local schools providing opportunities for girls and boys of all ages and ability to try rugby.
The day will commence at 10.30am where girls aged 11-17yrs will have the opportunity to participate in a fun coaching session featuring skills & games delivered by local coaches, supported by RFU Divisional Talent Development Officers and some players from the England Women's U20 squad.
At midday there will be refreshments provided for the girls who participate in the coaching session and then an opportunity to watch the England U20s and Senior Academy warm up and prepare for kick off at 2.30pm.

After last years success of winning the Womens Rugby World Cup, this is a great opportunity for children and adults of all ages from the local schools and communities to watch future England players.
